K2 is comprised of six ideally-located office buildings at the intersection of two main roads, Boulevard Kennedy and Rue Coudenove Calerghi, right in the heart of Kirchberg. The architects’ firm Art & Build, in partnership with Tetra Kayser, was responsible for its design. The idea was to imagine an open, functional and modular environment, with a maximum of natural light, thermal and acoustic comfort, as well as an exceptional view on the outside. Footbridges were installed between the buildings. K2 extends over a 2.5 ha site, half of which is devoted to paths and green spaces. The buildings, which face each other, are embellished with interior gardens offering very tranquil spaces.

 

The ‘Ellipse’ building, whose elliptical shape indicates that it is for a different purpose, combines office spaces with 5,000 m2 of retail space: restaurants, gym, services, etc., a commercial function that further reinforces the appeal and conviviality of the site.
