START
CODIC refurbished the former headquarters of Malakoff-Médéric to restore the 30,000 sqm building according to the latest office standards. An eco-friendly construction, the START building is BBC labelled and certified HQE and BREEAM. The architects Valode & Pistre achieved an iconic building that marks the entrance into the city Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
Situated at 300 m from RER and TER train stations, in the heart of a major motorway network and very close to a shopping centre, the START building has quickly seduced the company EGIS, which signed a firm 9-year lease agreement for the entire building. EGIS is going to establish here its new headquarters to regroup all its teams, which were previously distributed over four different locations in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.
This operation shall contribute to the renewal of the office supply in the Saint-Quentin en Yvelines area, the second largest business cluster in Ile de France.
